Dr. Linda Phelps is a licensed counselor offering grief counseling through the Grief Counseling Program at French.  During her twenty year counseling career, she has provided individual and group therapy to individuals, couples and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  She also works with married couples, families and children who need assistance in resolving issues affecting their personal lives.  Before joining French, Dr. Phelps was a Chaplain in hospice and long-term health care providing pastoral services and grief counseling to patients and their families regarding end-of-life issues.  Dr. Phelps has evolved her passion for helping others from a background as a Board Certified Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  She has taught Counseling Theory and Practices as an Adjunct Professor for two mid-western Universities, and has been an invited speaker for professional conferences.  Dr. Phelps is married and has two grown children.
